I could probably sit through Howard longer. As for George's comment, well, it's pretty easy to pick out the horrible films of yesteryear (films like Plan 9 from Outer Space or Attack of the 50-foot Woman). However, some of them (maybe like Howard?) were always meant to be B-movies. Yet, even so, a movie like Tremors is still pretty great despite it being at that level. Yeah, I’m not sure if this was worse than the live-action “Masters of the Universe” movie with Dolph Lundgren. I could probably sit through Howard longer.

As for George’s comment, well, it’s pretty easy to pick out the horrible films of yesteryear (films like Plan 9 from Outer Space or Attack of the 50-foot Woman).

But on some level, I always thought it <em>could</em> have been alright. Lucas once noted that, 20 years from now (then), if people looked at Howard and Turtles, without any other knowledge of how they fared, they wouldn't be able to tell the hit from the flop. I don't think that's necessarily true, but there's no denying that in that neck of the (Holly)woods, it's a fine line between good and bad... It is in truth a horrible film.
