I have loved each of the Pixar movies and have been impressed at their stories, animation and ability to entertain while Disney has sunk to all-time lows with such duds as Home on the Range, Chicken Little and anything else they've produced in the last seven or eight years. I can't help but wonder why one company can produce winners while the other can't seem to tie their own shoes.

Yeah, Towmater (or Larry the Cable Guy) was a scene stealer. As for it being as well thought out, yeah, I can see what you're talking about.

Personally I think out of every Pixar film to date, Monster's Inc. was the most original and I even felt that way when I saw the trailer a year (or two) before it's release!

I thought Cars was alright. To me it wasn't as well thought out as the rest of Pixar's films and seemed like a commercial for NASCAR more than anything.

Owen Wilson to me initially wasn't a good choice for the main character's voice but the voice grew on me throughout the film. Tow-mater was awesome, stole the show, but it looked that way in the commercials.
