Congrats (I think)? I had no idea that 9rules was open for joining… where the hell have I been!

How does this change things for you (if you can go into any detail) besides more traffic from being part of a network? Any cool benefits?

Adam: Thanks! It should be awesome, but admitedly I'm still out in a field scratching my head as to how this'll work out, I'm confident that this will benefit all parties involved, but I'm still a "newbie" to all of this. Beto: For the next round I'd suggest applying for membership, if you're really interested. Addressing quality content opposed to one-liners or whims, it is more difficult to invest the time, effort and knowledge towards writing meaningful and long-lasting posts, but the payoff (in the long run) is more than worth it. After almost 2 years of writing good content you'll have an archive to reference later on in life and possibly even bind into some sort of book form. Michael: The consequences are essentially increased readership and exposure. There's also the Adsense dispursement across the network, but I'm more focused on providing good content and increased participation. I think commenting on blogs adds a layer of depth to what would otherwise just be a static article.

Cool man. Wonder how could I be part of this too. Sure, I’m just beginning to rise my English blog from the ashes of oblivion (betobeto.com/notebook/) but I am definitely working my butt off to make it rich in quality content. I like to build posts into lifelasting articles rather than just slapping a few words and call it a day. I’m more interested in exposure rather than money at this point… guess I’ll have to wait until first round is over. Oh well.
