Flickr Pro Account Giveaway Results

First of all, thanks goes out to every­one who par­tic­i­pated! I wasn’t expect­ing so many heart­felt com­ments, but mem­o­ries have a way of tug­ging at our emo­tional strings.

Sur­prise, Surprise

Due to the gen­eros­ity of Adam Michela, Adam Smith and Alberto Gon­za­lez I’m now giv­ing away not just one Flickr Pro account, but four five! This is fan­tas­tic con­sid­er­ing I was fret­ting over the fact that I only had one prize to give out.

Now for what you’ve been wait­ing for; our judges have decided (based on a com­bi­na­tion of brain­power and caf­feine) and the win­ners are: Robert Pol­lack, Rob Cot­ting­ham, Henna, Ken­neth and Bryan Peters.

Greg and Matt: I agree. At their core those were excel­lent mem­o­ries and some of which will stick around in my mind.

Robert: Yeah man, no prob­lem. I’m glad to see these accounts will be put to good use! Like I said, I’m look­ing for­ward to see­ing some great photos.

By the time I opened up your email and checked this page, the con­test was over — soooo sorry I couldn’t help with the con­test. Really liked the idea, I myself am try­ing to come up with some sort of flickr give­away for the soon-to-be launched donniejeter.com — any ideas?

Wahoo! I’m a win­ner! My mom was was right all along…

Read­ing oth­ers’ child­hood mem­o­ries got me think­ing (and sen­ti­men­tal). I had lunch with my folks today and told them that story, and they couldn’t believe I remem­bered it. I couldn’t either. It’s there, it just needs to be coaxed out.

Dear Sir,
I am Chi­ayu Peng from China,
I begun using Flickr to store and share my dig­i­tal pho­toes not long ago.
I have a dig­i­tal camra of myself, and I take a lot of pho­toes every month.
But, a free Flickr account can only upload a lim­ited pho­toes, just 20M, it not enough for me.
I tried to upgrade to a Pro account, but I have no Inter­na­tional credit card such as Visa or Dis­cov­ery Card to pay.
So if you have enough money, can you please buy me a Pro account.
