Wow. Good article. I remember a certain somebody making a Megazeux game from a name of a font. Ghody-Stout wasn’t it? I still think our Zelda game we were designing woulda put EMWare Productions on the map.. Hell, half of our games would have, but we’d get 60% done, and somehow our computer would crash and we’d never save it.. Whats up with that?

Awesome research and interview. Martz’s typefaces are super fun and overall really well done. It’s really great to hear the inside scoop of what makes him create these fonts and the Amazon reimbursement model is totally ingenious.

I have a special place in my heart for typography. When I really get to studying typefaces, especially the Garamond and Bodini families, I just love all of the fantastic details that makes the page come to life.
