Flaky Hacker

To the person that feels it’s funny to constantly reset my administrative password, you are being watched. Honestly, I really don’t see the humor behind it and if you’re trying to log into my account, good luck, considering the password that you reset is sent to my secure email account I don’t see any benefit in doing this other than for your own amusement. An odd sort of amusement if you ask me.

I suppose you know you’ve reached a certain status, of which I believe is currently “psuedo known”, when people lift or steal your work and/or fiddle with your admin backend to retreive pertinent information. My advice for you is to please divert your attention and time to something else, you’ll find that focusing on something worthwhile might incur more interesting results.

Update: The mystery has been solved. It was my “up to no good and in the Navy” brother Matt who reset my administrative password and broke into the MySQL database that runs this site.

Richard: On average, I’m hit about 4-5 times a week with spam. However, with Wordpress it’s just a matter of not approving the message and processing it accordingly.

@Kartooner, man that’s ridiculous. What kind of low-life are you attracting here? ;) Seriously - don’t think I’ve had that happen to me…yet.

I think my pet-hate at the moment is not comment spam (WP handles that fabulously) but referral spam…had a new outfit trying their luck this week. I may start contacting ISP’s to see what their policy on it is.

Haha, you know whats funny? Your hacker is no other then your brother.. I’ve been trying lately to get in to your server to see if I can find any faults so I got bored last night and decided to see if I could get in without knowing anything. I managed to get in to your SQLDatabase, see what passwords you use and also attempted to change it. I changed your permissions on the SQL so you can’t read the php file over a browser..

Haha.. God I’m good. Though I was caught, so I ended up not being so good but still.. You owe me once again..:)

Matt: I figured it was probably you, but only in this instance. I’ve had this happen a couple times in the past and wondered if the original hacker had returned. Next time, consult with me please before I suffer from a migraine trying to deal with issues like these.

Damn brothers. I know the trouble they can cause, but mine are luckily not so web-savvy.

Hey hey, I can easily reset the permissions and have some idiot come in and cause serious havoc to your server.. Your lucky I found your hole before a real hacker did.. We can see what problems I really can cause, if need be dear brother. :)

If he’s up to no good the Navy is the best place for him. I just hope he is no where near the nukes :)

You can always count on your brothers for a little excitement in life. That’s why I’m not encouraging my brothers to pursue computers. I’m the resident family nerd, and would like it that way. How else would I charge huge sum of money for my time? ;)
