I think Costner was the pilot, and the cartoonist was played by Casey Siemaszko (?), if I am remembering properly…

I do faintly remember that episode and I remember how cool it was that his drawings would magically come to life. Was that Kevin Costner in that role? I can’t remember.

Chris, that episode you were writing about(The Mission) was my all time favorite as a kid. I thought that cartoon wheel at the end was just the coolest thing imaginable.

Chris: The Amazing Stories Online site might have your answer. It's a bit vague, but there are reports that there may be a DVD release of the Amazing Stories series in the near future.

My favorite stories were the one with the magician and the magic deck of cards, and the WWII soldier cartoonist who got stuck in the gunner section of the bomber and the landing gear wouldn’t come down. Is the series out on DVD? It’s one of the few old shows I ‘ve been waiting for.
