Yes, but the occassional thought on "quantum physics" or the "evolutional theory" would be thought provoking, much like this article was (or is).

I'm not a science historean, but aren't scientists fiercely protective of their work until everything's been proven and patents issued/prizes awarded, etc? I'd think most of the them would freak over security issues on the internet...

Well he might have inadvertently published the code for the atom bomb or something. What a fascinating question Kartooner. More locally what would happen if current leading figures began blogging. We could have : Nelson Mandela : The long walk to validation; Tony Blair: The hand of history; and who knows what. A lot of fun. ;)

Michael, i think you have it right! :)

The good thing about weblogs is that you can right something and get some feedback in a few days, maybe in a few months if you're not linked that much at all. Unlike in the past, great minds were used to travelling around the world just to discuss ideas with their colleagues.

Michael: Haha. You're probably right. Makes me wonder, what links would be on their favorites list?

Jarek: I was gently making a pun of sorts, by removing the ^2. Maybe it didn't convey itself as well. Also, I agree, smileys are the way to go.

Max: It's like an intellectual brain freeze. Maybe, as Michael mentioned, they would be too preoccupied with link browsing. Although, Einstein could have made great use of MathML.

I was thinking about this earlier today pondering the results of a blog if Einstein could have used this method to relay his thoughts.

Too much... bite-sized... knowledge bombs! Argh!
