Everytime I go anywhere with anyone when it comes to parking at a public place I always choose to park as far out as possible. Why? This way, unlike everyone else, when there are no spots up front I’ll always be satisfied with something further back. I’ve had these discussion with my brother, brother-in-law and my wife. It always begins with, “Why?” and ends with “Why not a parking spot in the front, it’s closer to the sidewalk?”

Ever gone to a wedding and admired the cake? Sometimes people will go to great lengths to make the wedding experience a memorable one and this even attributes itself to having a cake that concludes the experience in a confectionary way.
Some people will go down to the local bakery (such as the Little Bakery in my area) and approach the baker about what they would like on their cake. Usually this consists of pretty flowers and scrumptious filling, maybe a figurine or two attached on the top and creamy frosting.
Then, there are the other kind of people who opt for a custom cake, something with pizazz. If you or someone you know wants something different then Krispy Kreme has an alternate choice for you.
That’s right, the Krispy Kreme wedding cake is the new cake in town. According to Krispy Kreme Chief Executive Ron Rupocinski “This is still in it’s infancy . . . but it’s taking off.”
Thus proving that there is something for everyone. Just think, you could replace the candy-shelled peanuts with minature Krispy Kreme donuts and even have Donut-flavored drinks, how about the Krispy Kreme mascot roaming around entertaining your guests?
Wait, is there even a Krispy Kreme mascot?

Two years ago today the tragic event now known as ‘Nine-Eleven’ occured in New York City on September 11th, 2001.
I can remember waking up and watching the event unfold on my television and feeling extreme sympathy for not only the victims but for the nation and the world as a whole. Now two years later that void that occured because of the events that took place in NYC are embedded in my memories forever.
I ask everyone to remember those victims who lost their lives; children who lost their mothers and fathers and mothers and fathers who lost their children.
In memory of the victims of 9/11/01.
May peace prevail for humanity.

“The Ambient Orb slowly transitions between thousands of colors to show changes in the weather, the health of your stock portfolio, or if your boss or kid is on instant messenger.
Imagine if you had to go to your computer and type in your zip code whenever you wanted to check what time it was. Your important information should be as accessible as looking at a clock, now the Ambient Orb can make a variety of information just a glance away.
The Orb will arrive automatically set to track the Dow Jones Industrial Average, glowing more green or red to indicate market movement up or down, or yellow when the market is calm. It can be customized to a set of free channels, such as market indices or weather in major cities. Optionally, you can upgrade to access more premium channels, such as your customized portfolio.”
The Orb does not use an internet connection which means no phone lines or other clutter. Rather, it uses a wireless network built into the egg-shaped device and transmits and receives information like stock reports, weather, etc.
According to the web site you simply plug it into a conventional power outlet and it automatically begins reporting on the status of various information.
