For those of you who long for the good ol’ days when computer games were comprised of mostly point-and-click adventure games will be excited to know that someone out there is filling that void.
The creator of this Flash adventure game has created something that simply cannot be categorized. Instead, while it may have it’s roots dug deep in adventure gaming ‘Samorost’ is something of an abstract masterpiece.
For instance the levels are made up of forest-like landscapes that immediatedly spark imagination. The character you guide along in this short journey is a space alien and your job is to lead him along by solving simple puzzle games.
It reminds me of Myst somewhat with it’s contraptions and guessing-game puzzles but again it’s a wonderful little Flash piece. Of note, the shadows in this game provide for a great visual treat.

How do i complete level 4/5?

Jerry, I pulled this from a walthrough (spoilers ahead), but essentially here’s what you do:
Your elevator has become stuck. Click on each worm as it pops out of its hole in the tree to have the woodpecker eat it.
Once all four worms are gone, click on the knothole in the center of the tree to view the squirrel. Click on the red button to start the record player, then click on the squirrel twice so she puts on the record of Breakbeats. This will wake up the owl. Click on him until he scoots over and knocks your elevator to screen 5.

OK, I’m addicted and frustrated. I’ve made it to the mechanical room. I can turn he light on and then get the steam to puff from t pipes, BUT THEN WHAT???? I can’t get anything else to happen.

ahhh im stuck in the mechanical room too.. all i can do is turn on and off the light and get hte pipes to puff.. and change that “o” meter at the bottom.. but it doesnt do anything ahhh help

I have downloaded the full version of Samarost. LOVE IT! However I am stuck on the screen where he has to wake up the taxi driver and pump the gas. I have woken up the Taxi Driver but I cant figure out the next step. I have him on the ship and I have him jump which lowers the taxi but the pump still doesnt reach — HELP!
