Microsoft and Toilets

Further proof that two seperate entities of concepts can relate to one another*;

According to this guy in the article, he came up with an Internet-ready toilet called the iLoo. The invention is interesting; you can search the Internet whilst on a public toilet and print on toilet paper.

Then along comes Microsoft and you know the rest . . .

* Depending on your point of view. Some people might consider these two in the same category.

“X”Tra Information

Here’s alittle information I bet you didn’t know. Among new mutants in the X-Men 2, there was one specific that was cut from the final film. Many of you know him as Gambit, the card throwing, rod bashing cajun pimp from the X-Team. The actors name who is credited in Internet Movie Database is James Bamford, a hardcore stuntman. You can see his picture at http://www.stuntscanada.net/james_bamford.htm

It is rumored that his cutscene will be included inside the DVD, but no real information on this has surfaced. Another rumor is that a certain one eyed leader of the X-Team will be able to finally take off those ugly red specs and see with his normal eyes (With help of a certain phoenix).

We’ll just have to see, moan-a-me…..

The Mysterious Blogger

Often, people resort to tools known as Blogs to relay their thoughts, feelings and everyday experiences out to the world. Sometimes these messages are carried out to “cyberspace” drifting without any audience, merely invisible thoughts in the collective database of the Internet. Other times, in rare occasions, someone might poke their head in and stay while and there are those who become a part of a community. They share their personal thoughts, pictures and laughter.

The “blogger” known only as Isabella is one of these individuals. According to her story she is a fugitive from the world, on flight from a predicament that put her into peril and through her blog she is to reveal her story. Unfolding like chapters in a intricately woven novel her advantage is her anonymity.

I’ve read her introduction and to tell you the truth, this could easily be a ploy by a Hollywood writer to test the waters of the blogging universe. On the other hand it could very well be a person who has mysteriously disappeared from this world and now shares her story, allowing the reader to visualize it as they read.

We shall see.

Update: Wired has an interesting write up on what people are calling an elaborately constructed hoax or the truth. Read here.

College Degree

I’ve heard a lot of stories of young Doogie Howser guys getting their college degrees in physics, business, etc. Like for example the kid who made frequent appearances on Oprah telling everyone his plans to further educate the youth of their importance in stepping forth into a successful and plentiful generation of intellectuals.

The kid was about 7 or 8 years old when he described these goals. That was impressive, but nothing is as impressive as this man:

Proof that your never too old to obtain a college degree.
