Have you ever won­dered what it would look like if you stacked a bil­lion pen­nies, one by one? How about a tril­lion pennies?

The peo­ple at the MegaPenny Project have and doc­u­ment it with graphs and spec­i­fi­ca­tions. It’s a great project for ele­men­tary schools. I can remem­ber a class project where we had to col­lect 10,000 pen­nies. The goal was 10,000 but we only made it to about 6,000.

Appar­ently, not every­one can make a liv­ing with just the pen­nies inbe­tween the couch cushions.
